- You Must Have an Orem Library Card to Use this Interlibrary Loan Service
- Before making your ILL request, please be aware that you will be responsible for a postage fee for each item the library receives in your behalf. This fee typically ranges from $2 to $5 depending upon the weight of the item. In certain circumstances (i.e. the book appears to be worth more than $50 or the lending library requests an insured return), there may be an additional shipping insurance fee.
-
Renewals, when available, should be requested one week prior to the due date. Some libraries will not allow items to be renewed. -
Overdue fees for Inter-Library Loan items are $1 per day. The loaning library may also impose overdue charges. It is especially important to return ILL items on time so that our library does not lose its loaning privileges with other libraries.
Items are not always available because they may belong to non-circulating collections or non-supplier libraries. Audio-visual items are normally not available through Inter-Library Loan.

Warning Concerning Copyright Restrictions
*The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.
*Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
*This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law. |
| FOR PHOTOCOPY REQUESTS: I have read the warning on copyright restrictions and accept full responsibility for compliance. I also understand that the library making the photocopies may impose their own charges. (Please sign below to ensure service.) |
